Let's hear it for #Iceland in the Euro 2016 final 16, which today beat England 2 - 1 to move onto the quarterfinals. That's not Apple news, but this is:

  • Twitter announces that stickers for tweeted photos are coming soon to the iOS app
  • A French TV talk show relies on iPhones to film the remainder of an episode when a power outage knocks out cameras
  • A regional Ford dealership in Massachusetts rips off some great art from the game "Firewatch" by Panic and Campo Santo

Lots of fun Apple-related stories for a lazy, post-Brexit summer afternoon. 

  • Don't worry about the Thunderbolt Display being discontinued; its successor with a built-in GPU may be coming this fall
  • The 2017 Honda Accord will be here on Monday, and you can get Apple CarPlay in your vehicle if you order the Accord with a 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen
  • Twitter will soon let you read tweets from specific locations on the iPhone and iPad apps

  • Dropbox adds a document scanner and other new features today, upping the utility of the cloud storage service

  • Google has launched Touch ID sign-on via iPhone and iPad, using the devices and Touch ID as a second step in the company's 2-step verification setup
  • Your KFC in Mumbai or Delhi might come with a side of cables and battery packs

Today's the first full day of summer after the summer solstice at 3:34 PM Pacific Daylight Time yesterday afternoon, and we have some hot news to go along with the hot weather:

  • OWC announces that they're putting 10TB Enterprise class drives into their RAID solutions
  • Drobo launches the Drobo 5D Turbo Edition, AKA Drobo 5Dt
  • People who bought Kindle books between April 1, 2010 and May 21, 2012 are getting refunds from Amazon today, funded by Apple
  • Twitter and Vine go to a 140-second video length limit
  • That drastically different iPhone 7 you through you were going to get this year? Aint' gonna happen, says the Wall Street Journal.

  • One new rumor still shows the 3.5 mm headphone jack and dual SIM cards for the iPhone 7
  • MyCokeRewards comes to Apple Wallet and Apple Pay
  • It looks as if the 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pro is on the verge of bing removed from stores. 
  • Sweden's Spotify reported that it now has twice the number of paying customers that Apple Pay does

  • The "Apps for Earth" campaign that Apple and the World Wildlife Fund ran back in April made a tidy sum for the conservation group
  • Have the urge for luxury leather Apple Watch bands? Coach has released its bands to its online and brick-and-mortar retail outlets
  • Politico is trying a unique way to send out breaking news and poll results on the impending "Brexit" vote - using Apple's Wallet app

  • The US Department of Transportation is looking at releasing new guidelines for the adoption of self-driving cars in order to speed up delivery of such technology
  • TapTapTap's amazing Camera+ app just got upgraded to version 8, and it features technology that's not even available on high-end DSLRs
  • If you haven't paid attention to Slack lately, you might not notice that it now supports voice calling

  • Apple Pay is coming to Switzerland on June 13
  • Apple updated the WWDC event page with info on the livestream of the event
  • Developers are sure to be scouring OS X 10.12 beta next week for signs of new hardware that may be in the works, including a MacBook Pro with an OLED touch panel
  • Google released yet another iOS app, this one for converting iPhone SE, 6s/6s Plus Live Photos into GIFs
